PERFORMANCE
Genesis G70

Imagine you’re getting into your car on a nice, sunny day. You start it, crank up your music, and then press the gas. Suddenly, you’re going from 0 to 60 MPH in a matter of seconds. All the while, the engine lets out a loud roar that provides that extra shot of adrenaline. That’s what the engines in the Genesis and the Cadillac were born to do.

Eye-Popping Performance

Even though both vehicles have strong powertrains, the Genesis can offer more. In its base trim, the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine of the G70 delivers 300 horsepower.

The Cadillac CT5 comes with a standard 2.0L engine that offers less power, with just 237 horsepower.

Available Engines

Both the Genesis G70 and the Cadillac CT5 can be equipped with a more powerful engine, although the G70 still comes out on top when it comes to power.

Genesis drivers can upgrade to the 3.3L V6 engine to get 365 horsepower, while Cadillac drivers can only get 335 horsepower out of its 3.0L V6 engine. So, if horsepower is something you crave, you’ll want to go with the Genesis.

SAFETY
Genesis G70

While you’re focused on the road and what’s in front of you, your vehicle will also be monitoring what’s going on all around you. In a car equipped with a multitude of safety features to help you evade danger, you can drive happily with complete peace of mind.

Never Give Safety a Day Off

Both the G70 and the CT5 have safety features meant to help you stay safe on the road. Similar standard safety features these luxury sedans have include:

  • Lane Following Assist
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
  • High Beam Assist
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert

With these features, you can get from Point A to Point B with confidence.

Attention Warning

In addition to the above features, the Genesis can make you feel even safer with standard Driver Attention Warning, which monitors your driving habits and can sense when you’re feeling drowsy or distracted. At that point, your vehicle will alert you and suggest you take a break from driving.

Unfortunately for Cadillac drivers, the CT5 doesn’t have any sort of driver attention warning feature.
